2A12 aluminium is a 2000-series aluminium alloy: the main alloying addition iscopper, and it is formulated for primary forming into wrought products. Thecorrosion resistance is not high, in order to improve the corrosion resistance ofanodic oxidation treatment and often used methods of paint or aluminium surfacelayer.
